| In late
1990, Roger Penske returned to NASCAR Winston Cup racing as
a car owner, forming Penske South with minority partners Don
Miller and Rusty Wallace.
In the years since the team began, Wallace has established
the Miller Fords as week-to-week contenders for victory.
Penske, a highly successful businessman, IndyCar team owner
and track owner, owns a handful of NASCAR facilities, including
the new California Speedway outside of Los Angeles.
